LTP’s latest project, with Green Man Cleaning, saw the transformation of a limestone pool surround and pool house at a beautiful property in Shaftesbury. The deep clean was carried out with ECOPROTEC Stone & Tile Intensive Cleaner, followed by a protective treatment with ECOPROTEC Natural Finish Stone Sealer.
Before deep cleaning commenced, Green Man Cleaning’s Ollie and Jon thoroughly swept the limestone pavers and pool house floor to remove all loose soil and debris.
They then applied ECOPROTEC Stone & Tile Intensive Cleaner, working the solution into the limestone with a rotary agitator. The treatment cleans and conditions – either after installation or during renovation – before application of a sealer. It can be used at different dilutions, to surface clean or strip very stubborn residue, and it’s safe to use on all types of tile and stone, indoors and outdoors. The cleaner lifts the embedded residue and suspends it in the solution. Ollie and Jon then removed the dirty slurry using a wet vacuum.
To ensure the longevity of these stunning tiles, the freshly cleaned pavers were treated with ECOPROTEC Natural Finish Stone Sealer. A water-based, impregnating treatment, the solution repels water, oil and grease and protects the surface from organic debris and staining. Being a non-film forming sealer, it also allows the limestone to breathe and protects, without altering appearance.
